Offer QA Gate

An Offer QA Gate is a single pre-launch verification of the offer itself as a reusable asset, performed once before it binds to any page, CTA, or campaign.

It checks asset quality, that the delivery mechanism works, that tracking is wired, and that claims are accurate.

It differs from a landing page QA gate, which verifies a specific page: this gate verifies the offer, because a defective offer replicated across channels multiplies the damage—broken download links and false claims exposed everywhere at once.

A practical example

Example: before a webinar template goes live, the gate confirms the file downloads, the confirmation email fires, UTM parameters persist, and the 'includes 12 templates' claim is true.

What to evaluate before investing

  • Does the gate run against the offer asset itself, independent of any single page?
  • Does it include a live test of the delivery mechanism, not just a content read-through?
  • Is gate sign-off recorded so teams can tell which offers passed before binding?

Limitations and tradeoffs

Tradeoff: a one-time gate can miss regressions—if the hosting changes later, delivery may break without re-triggering the gate, so hosting changes need their own re-check.
