Connector Health

Connector health is the operational status of one specific connector: whether it is syncing, erroring, throttled, or paused.

Dashboards typically show recent run results, error counts, and rate-limit consumption for that connector alone, separate from overall platform traffic.

A practical example

Example: an ops analyst notices the Salesforce connector shows repeated field-mapping errors, fixes the mapping, and prevents a week of missing lead updates.

What to evaluate before investing

  • Check whether health is shown per connector with recent run history, not just platform-wide alerts.
  • Confirm error messages identify the failing record or field, not just a generic failure code.
  • Ask whether health views expose rate-limit usage so you can anticipate throttling.

Limitations and tradeoffs

A green health status usually means the connector ran, not that the data was correct, so validation checks on the target system remain necessary.
